Description
The Clayfield Blue Label Pallah 2022 Shiraz from our Moyston vineyard. This Shiraz was produced from several special rows of vines that my mother Alison would often tend and harvest. Unlike the two previous releases, the 2022 Pallah does not contain Merlot. Gently matured in French oak barriques for 18 months, this wine is a beautiful example of Grampians elegance and finesse. Showing a bright red hue, vivid varietal aromas precede a superbly balanced flavour profile underlined by classy oak, fine grained tannins and satisfying length. This wine recalls the 2014 Blue label Shiraz and is a special wine with all the hallmarks of a classic Western Victorian Red.
